Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins is one step closer to making his big return from injury.

A day removed from going limited and having Bengals head coach Zac Taylor still declare him as in concussion protocol, Higgins went “full” on Thursday’s injury report.

That uptick in status is the best possible sign the Bengals could deliver before they dish out the final Week 14 injury report on Friday.

Higgins suffered a concussion during his team’s loss to the New England Patriots in Week 12 while he was serving as the No. 1 with Ja’Marr Chase out suspended. Unfortunate timing there meant he had zero chance at playing just days later on Thanksgiving night during the upset win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Now, Higgins is on track to get back on the field with the back-from-injury Joe Burrow, teaming with Chase to take on the Bills in Buffalo on Sunday.

Barring a shocker, expect to see Higgins out there while the Bengals keep hunting for a playoff spot.
