The Denver Broncos play the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14. The first time around, the former downed the latter 10-7. Ahead of the matchup, though, the Broncos’ injury report for Thursday was released. 3-4 DE Zach Allen and 3-4 DE D.J. Jones, most notably, are on the injury report. Let’s see who else is on the list.
Zach Allen (calf)
Allen was downgraded to a did not practice on Thursday after not appearing on the injury report on Wednesday. He is No. 10 in PFSN’s DT Impact Score. We’ll know more about Allen’s Week 14 status after Friday’s injury report releases. He’s logged 560 snaps on the Broncos’ defense’s interior defensive line. As a 3-4 DE, Allen lines up at defensive tackle in nickel and dime.
He has six sacks, a league-high 31 QB hits, 31 total tackles, and three tackles for loss. Allen is a part of the defensive line quartet alongside EDGE Nik Bonitto, EDGE Jonathon Cooper, and 3-4 DE John Franklin-Myers as well. Every member of the quartet has at least four and a half sacks. The Broncos defense, meanwhile, is No. 2 in PFSN’s Defense Impact Score.
D.J. Jones (ankle)
Jones hasn’t practiced this week thus far. He’s No. 63 in PFSN’s DT Impact Score. Jones has played on 41% of the Broncos’ defensive snaps. He has two sacks, four QB hits, 23 total tackles, and three tackles for loss.
Jonah Elliss (hamstring)
Elliss has logged back-to-back full participation practices to start the week. He’s been out since Week 10 vs. the Las Vegas Raiders. Elliss has played on 38% of the Broncos’ defensive snaps.
Pat Bryant (hamstring)
Bryant was downgraded to a limited practice on Thursday after not appearing on the injury report on Wednesday. He’s played on 45% of the Broncos’ offensive snaps as a rookie. Bryant is coming off a career-high seven targets in Week 13. He parlayed the opportunity into three receptions for 42 yards. We’ll have more on Bryant’s status for Week 14 after Friday’s injury report.
Nate Adkins (knee)
Adkins is still not practicing. The question becomes, do the Broncos elevate fellow tight end Marcedes Lewis in Week 14?
Reese Taylor (chest)
Taylor has logged back-to-back full participation practices to start the week.
