 GREEN BAY − Four players on the Green Bay Packers active roster were absent during the team’s Dec. 4 practice.

 The Packers (8-3-1) host the Chicago Bears (9-3) on Sunday, Dec. 7, in a highly anticipated NFC North contest.

 Here’s the latest on who did and didn’t practice for the Packers:

Karl Brooks (ankle), Brenton Cox Jr. (IR/groin), Matthew Golden (wrist), Nate Hobbs (knee), Josh Jacobs (knee), MarShawn Lloyd (IR/calf), Collin Oliver (IR/hamstring), Jayden Reed (IR/foot, shoulder), Zach Tom (back) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) were limited participants in practice.

Javon Bullard (ankle), Lukas Van Ness (foot), Savion Williams (foot) and Devonte Wyatt (ankle) did not participate.

Matthew Golden injury update

Packers receiver Matthew Golden practiced for the second straight day.

The rookie receiver has missed the past two games dealing with injuries to his shoulder and wrist.

Quay Walker injury update

Packers linebacker Quay Walker participated in practice again.

Walker has missed the past two games due to a stinger in his neck. He was a limited participant during the Dec. 3 practice and was upgraded to a full participant Dec. 4.

Karl Brooks injury update

Packers defensive tackle Karl Brooks practiced again.

Brooks missed the Detroit Lions game due to an ankle injury.

Nate Hobbs injury update

Packers cornerback Nate Hobbs continues to practice for the team.

He’s missed the past four games due to a knee injury.

Savion Williams injury update

Packers rookie receiver and return specialist Savion Williams missed the second straight day of practice.

He was ruled out of the Lions game.

Javon Bullard injury update

Packers slot corner Javon Bullard missed practice for the first time this week.

Bullard has been on the injury report with an ankle injury and was a limited participant in the Dec. 3 practice.

Lukas Van Ness injury update

Packers defensive end Lukas Van Ness missed practice again.

Van Ness, who missed five games due to a foot injury, returned in Week 12 against the Vikings, but played just six snaps. He was ruled out of the Lions game.

Update on injured-reserve players

Jayden Reed, MarShawn Lloyd, Brenton Cox Jr. and Collin Oliver continue to practice for the Packers.

Lloyd, Cox and Oliver’s practice window opened Dec. 1. Reed hasn’t missed practice since his 21-day practice window opened Nov. 21.

Devonte Wyatt injury update

Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt is not on injured reserve, but LaFleur confirmed this week that Wyatt would be out for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury he suffered at the end of the game against the Lions on Thanksgiving.
