Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed could make his return against the Chicago Bears this Sunday, which would provide a massive boost to the Packers offense.
After all, Reed is the team’s No. 1 receiver and has not played since Week 2 when he suffered a broken collarbone, and injury that ultimately required surgery.

Following his procedure in the hospital, Reed went live on Instagram and was clearly feeling the medication as he muttered “Packers to the [Super] Bowl … We going all the [expletive] way. They can’t [expletive] with us bro.”
To be fair, Reed was obviously not in his right state of mind at the time, so I’m not sure anyone took his prediction seriously. That includes Reed himself.
In the lead up to Reed’s potential return this weekend, he was asked about his medically-induced Super Bowl boast, and he claimed to not even remember it.

“I still don’t know what I said. I know there was a lot going on at the time. I might have been a little — I had a little bit in me,” Reed said, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
But while the 25-year-old is no longer in the head space to be making any guarantees, he did say that he definitely believes Green Bay can win a championship.
“Being serious, man, I really do believe in this team,” Reed added. “We’ve got a lot of playmakers around the team. We’ve got a great leadership role on the team, and I think we have every piece we need to get to where we want to go.”
Reed was originally selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He hauled in 64 receptions for 793 yards and eight touchdowns during his rookie campaign and followed that up by catching 55 passes for 857 yards and six scores in 2024.

The Michigan State product has yet to prove he is a legitimate ace receiver on the professional level, and because his 2025 season has been cut short, we still don’t know.
However, he has proven to be Jordan Love’s No. 1 option when he is on the field, so his return to the gridiron is certainly great news for the offense.
