The Las Vegas Raiders put forth one of their worst offensive performances in the season against the Denver Broncos in Week 10, losing 10-7 in primetime. Then-offensive coordinator Chip Kelly has since been fired. Greg Olson, the new OC and play-caller, will attempt to guide his unit to a better showing in this Sunday’s Week 14 rematch with the Broncos.

We’ve identified three potential X-factors for the Raiders on offense in Week 14.

Ashton Jeanty, RB

Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos. They were volume numbers, as his 19 carries averaged just 3.2 yards per attempt. The dual-threat Jeanty was also limited to three receiving yards. The Raiders have made some offensive line changes since then, inserting rookie guard Caleb Rogers into the lineup.

Geno Smith, QB

Geno Smith was totally ineffective in the first Broncos game. The experienced quarterback completed 16-of-26 passing attempts for 143 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. He also suffered a minor injury and was briefly replaced by Kenny Pickett. Smith will look for a bounce-back performance.

Brock Bowers, TE

Brock Bowers was limited to one reception for 31 yards against the Broncos in Week 10. The failure to get Bowers consistently involved was partially why Kelly was fired. Olson will hopefully carve out a gameplan that peppers the superstar tight end with targets.
