Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins cleared to play vs. Buffalo after suffering concussion
TO RAW CONVERSATION WITH TEE HIGGINS STARTED RIGHT NOW. A FEW CLOSING THOUGHTS FROM THE BENGALS WIDE RECEIVER ON THE GOALS THAT STILL LIE AHEAD. IT’S BEEN A REWARDING JOURNEY WITH HUMBLE ROOTS AND AT TIMES HEARTBREAKING STUFF AS WELL. I LOVE YOUR MOM. EVERYONE LOVES YOUR MOM’S STORY. YOU GUYS ARE THE PROOF OF WHAT POSITIVITY CAN DO IN THIS WORLD. WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR LIFE FROM HERE, FAMILY, FATHERHOOD, AND WHAT YOU WANT SOMEDAY. WHAT’S THAT VISION? YOU KNOW, THAT VISION FOR ME IS, YOU KNOW, TO BE THE ULTIMATE ROLE MODEL FOR MY CHILD. AND AND JUST, YOU KNOW, HAVE MY CHILD GROW UP TO BE THE BEST PERSON THEY CAN BE AND, YOU KNOW, BE A ROLE MODEL TO OTHERS IN THE WORLD. WHAT WOULD YOU ASK OF EVERYONE WHO’S STILL RIDING THIS THING? BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, ONE THING YOU’LL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PEOPLE NOT CARING IN THIS CITY. T YOU FOUND YOURSELF A PLACE THAT’S VERY PASSIONATE. WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THOSE FOLKS? FIRST, I WOULD SAY I’M THANKFUL FOR THEIR PASSION. YOU KNOW, FOR FOR US, AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE JUST WANT TO MAKE THE CITY PROUD. I FEEL LIKE WE HAVE, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, WE HAVEN’T BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE LOSSES. SO I FEEL LIKE WE’RE GOING TO TRY TO TURN THIS AROUND FOR FOR THE CITY. TRUE OR FALSE? HOLDING A SUPER BOWL IN THE FUTURE LOMBARDI TROPHY WILL FEEL IMMENSELY MORE GRATIFYING THAN IT WOULD HAVE HAD IT HAPPEN THAT NIGHT IN LA. WHEN WE’RE LOOKING AT THESE PHOTOS, YOU GUYS LOOK LIKE KIDS, MAN. THOSE THOSE PRE-SUPER BOWL PHOTOS. I HAD HAIR AND ALL TYPES OF STUFF. YEAH, MAN. TRUE, I THINK I THINK IT’LL FEEL WAY BETTER. THAT WAS JAMAR’S FIRST YEAR. YOU KNOW, ME AND JOE, SECOND YEAR NOW. YOU KNOW, WE PUT IN ALL THE HARD WORK, ALL THE THINGS THAT THAT WE’VE BEEN DOING, YOU KNOW? SO HOPEF
