GREEN BAY – Could Green Bay Packers receiver Jayden Reed make his return to game action against the Chicago Bears?

“I hope so,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said.

Reed hasn’t played since the Week 2 game against the Washington Commanders after having collarbone and foot surgeries. His 21-day practice window opened Nov. 21, and he hasn’t missed a day of practice since.

“We’re still kind of going through that process of being fully cleared medically,” LaFleur said during his Dec. 5 pre-practice news conference.

If Reed is able to go, he could be a big boost against a surging Bears team in a highly anticipated NFC North matchup.

Reed’s game status and a few other players still are up in the air as four players on the active roster were sidelined during the Dec. 5 practice.

Here’s the latest:

Javon Bullard injury update

Packers nickel corner Javon Bullard has missed the past two days of practice due to an ankle injury.
