Curt Menefee, the host of “Fox NFL Sunday,” said it will take a hearse to get Terry Bradshaw to leave the pregame show.
Bradshaw — the 77-year-old NFL analyst and four-time Super Bowl champ with the Steelers who has made headlines for his on-air blunders and viral moments — has been a mainstay of the show since it began in 1994.
“It’s never gonna happen! They’re going to be carrying him out in a hearse — he is not leaving the show,” Menefee, 60, said in a recent interview with The Daily Mail. “Nor should he!

“It was built around him [Bradshaw] — he was the first guy they hired… He was the first guy on air for this network. I don’t think he’s ever, ever going to leave. And nor should he. He is the heart and soul of everything we do at Fox Sports.”

“I grew up watching Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long… for me to be beside these guys who are not only icons, but guys that I worshiped as a fan growing up has been absolutely amazing,” Menefee said, teasing that he and Strahan are “the two kids” on the show.
“And when I go back to year one, those guys took me and wrapped their arms around me and embraced me and made me a part of the team right away.”

Bradshaw made waves online when he missed “Fox NFL Sunday” due to a cold in Week 11.
He assured fans that he was “all good” in a note posted on social media.
Menefee, who joined “Fox NFL Sunday” in 2007, said he would not be on the show if it weren’t for Bradshaw.
“They had the auditions, they ran through a lot of people, and Bradshaw said, ‘I want Menefee,’ and that went a long way in the decision makers’ minds,” Menefee said.
Gronkowski replaced longtime analyst and former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson on the pregame show this season.
Johnson, 82, announced he was retiring from the show in March after 31 years with the program.
