The New Orleans Saints (2-10) travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-5)  at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.  The Bucs won 23-3 in the first meeting this season six weeks ago. Here are the predictions from our staff.

Jeff Duncan (Season record: 7-5)

Buccaneers 26, Saints 19: The Bucs have dominated this series in recent years, winning six of the last seven. But the Saints’ lone win came in Tampa, and they have traditionally played well at Raymond James Stadium. To hang close in this one, they’ll need a great effort by the defense, because Tampa Bay’s top playmakers, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving, are expected to play, unlike the teams’ first meeting in New Orleans.

Zach Ewing (Season record: 8-4)

Buccaneers 26, Saints 20: There are reasons to keep watching this Saints team despite the poor record, with quarterback Tyler Shough chief among them. The rookie has shown positive signs in a difficult situation and could lead this team to wins soon. This one, against a rival desperate to stay atop the NFC South, probably isn’t one of them.

Luke Johnson (Season record: 8-4)

Buccaneers 21, Saints 13: I mostly like what I’ve seen from rookie QB Tyler Shough, and I believe a big breakout game is coming sometime soon. It’s just tough to predict it this week. Tampa Bay has a good run defense and should be able to make the Saints one-dimensional.

Matthew Paras (Season record: 7-5)

Buccaneers 24, Saints 17: The Saints tend to play well in Tampa Bay, so I could see this being close for most of the afternoon. But the Buccaneers should still stop the Saints’ run game, and Baker Mayfield will probably get out of one too many near-sacks for the Saints to actually pull the upset.

Rod Walker (Season record: 8-4)

Buccaneers 27, Saints 10: The Saints will put up a much better fight this time against the Bucs. They might even find the end zone this time. But  Baker Mayfield and Company will be locked in considering the Carolina Panthers are closing in on them in the NFC South standings. Expect a big day from Devaughn Vele, but it won’t be enough to keep the Bucs from beating the Saints for the fourth straight time.
