Washington is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game due to a hip injury. He suffered the injury while fielding a punt last week against Tennessee.

After not practicing on Wednesday, Washington was limited on Thursday and Friday.

As the season has progressed, Washington’s role on offense has increased. On the year, he’s caught 36-of-57 passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns. Of his 36 receptions, 23 have gone for a first down. He has two punt returns for touchdowns as well.

If Washington is not available, Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers will lead the way. Filling the void, as Coen described, will be Tim Patrick and Dyami Brown. Austin Trammell would be elevated from the practice squad to handle punt return duties.

What Liam Coen said about Parker Washington

“You look at these games down the stretch, like I mentioned the other day, your limited options, limited opportunities,” Liam Coen said on Friday when asked about Washington. “Even though we see these guys again, I definitely think there’s a heightened sense of awareness; you want to go play, you want to compete in games like this, ultimately. We’ll see. We gotta make sure we’re doing right by those guys and what’s bes for our team though.”
