*PREDICTION*
I might be one of the biggest defenders of Kyler Murray, and it’s simply because I love that kid! Since entering the league in 2019 as the first pick overall, Kyler Murray’s production has slowly declined with the Cardinals. Murray had big concerns entering the NFL, mainly because of his height, but no one doubted his athleticism and insane precision. What nobody predicted was his injury concerns.
Arizona confirmed that Kyler Murray won’t play one more single snap of the 2025-26 NFL season, and it may be time to look for a new home. If you have seen Cardinals games this season, well, you know that Jacoby Brissett has played better. So why not move on from Kyler Murray?

Arizona Cardinals Trade Kyler Murray to the Indianapolis Colts
NFL teams need to realize that when they’re no longer competing in games, they need to start a rebuild. It’s time for the Cardinals to realize this and to trade Kyler Murray and I have the perfect team, the Indianapolis Colts. I have read so much about Kyler Murray needing to land with Sean McVay and I love that idea, but I also think that Murray is not broken, you just have to surround him with talent.Â
The Indianapolis Colts thought they had a franchise quarterback in Daniel Jones, but that’s not the case, they can’t trust him yet. Daniel Jones becomes a free agent next season and he has been involved in NFL rumors about a move to the Minnesota Vikings. If you ask me, I prefer Kyler Murray over Daniel Jones all day; the upside is just on another level.Â
Kyler Murray is a two-time Pro Bowler and has several Cardinals rookie franchise records. If the Colts make a move and send two second round picks for Kyler Murray, the Cardinals will take that and start a new chapter next season.Â
Landing Kyler Murray will definitely make the Indianapolis Colts favorites to win the AFC South and maybe contend for the Super Bowl. The Colts have a great defense, one of the best offensive lines, and a workhorse in Jonathan Taylor, for me, it looks like the perfect place to start over and change the narrative.Â
Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals are still miles away from reaching a Super Bowl, which is a great opportunity to start a rebuild and look for a franchise quarterback in the NFL Draft. It’s a win-win situation, and I could definitely see it happening before next season’s NFL trade deadline.
