Cam Ward is showing few signs of hope in his rookie year, and a matchup with the Browns’ bruising defense will drive his passing statistics down even further, per our NFL betting picks.

Cam Ward Tennessee Titans NFL

The 1-11 Tennessee Titans hit the road on Sunday for a matchup with Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field.

Cleveland’s pass defense is one of their biggest strengths, and my Titans vs. Browns predictions are eyeing this unit to keep Cam Ward at bay in Week 14.

Titans vs Browns prediction

Titans vs Browns Best bet: Cam Ward Under 178.5 passing yards (-114)

It’s been a tough rookie campaign for Cam Ward, who has struggled to find consistency.

While the team around him isn’t great, Ward’s numbers also aren’t too impressive. He’s completed just 59.7% of his passes for 2,351 yards and seven touchdowns against six interceptions.

Ward has cashed the Under in passing yards in two of his last four appearances. In Week 13, he threw for just 141 yards in a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Cleveland Browns may be 3-9, but they rank third in both fewest passing yards allowed and fewest total yards allowed. Myles Garrett is chasing the sack record, and the rest of this unit is relatively solid. They’ll give Ward a fit on Sunday.

Shedeur Sanders has yet to get a true taste of the NFL, but he played well enough in Week 13 to earn another start in Week 14. It’s another opportunity for the youngster to prove himself, and this opponent is the perfect one for Shedeur to have a big game.

The Tennessee Titans allow over 27 PPG, and their pass defense ranks towards the bottom of the league. I do believe Sanders will carve out a nice career for himself, and after generating just eight points for his team last weekend, the quarterback will bounce back and throw for a couple of TDs, at the very least.

Harold Fannin has emerged as the Browns’ top target at tight end. He leads the team with 51 receptions for 505 yards and three touchdowns. The 21-year-old has cashed the Over in receiving yards in back-to-back contests, and four of his last five.

Titans vs Browns SGP

Cam Ward Under 178.5 passing yards
Shedeur Sanders Over 1.5 passing TDs
Harold Fannin Over 37.5 receiving yards

Our big-ticket SGP: Fade Pollard too

Tony Pollard has cashed the Under in two straight outings with just 42 rushing yards combined. Cleveland also has the 10th-best run defense in the NFL.

Titans vs Browns SGP

Cam Ward Under 178.5 passing yards
Shedeur Sanders Over 1.5 passing TDs
Harold Fannin Over 37.5 receiving yards
