Travis Kelce explains urgency and playoff pressure before Texans game
Travis Kelce shared his thoughts on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, recorded earlier this week. He added that the team must show urgency every single day, starting in practice and carrying into the game.Kansas City’s situation became more serious after the loss to Dallas. During that game, Kelce caught five passes from quarterback Patrick Mahomes for 45 yards and one touchdown. Despite those personal milestones, Kelce insists the focus is only on winning.According to NFL.com, the Chiefs currently have a 35% chance to make the playoffs. That number will rise to 49% if they defeat the Texans on Sunday night. A loss, however, would drop their chances to just 11%.The Houston Texans enter the game with a 7–5 record and are also fighting for a postseason spot. That makes the matchup even more intense. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock. For Travis Kelce and the Chiefs, the message is clear.
