According to NFL insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Philadelphia Eagles had a “no-BS discussions” meeting this week.

The Eagles, who face the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football, are 8-4, but they enter the Chargers game on a two-game losing streak.

Philadelphia’s offense has also struggled all season despite having Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

“The Eagles are trying to shake off that ugly Black Friday loss to the Bears,” Russini wrote. “I’m told this week, the team had a series of ‘no-BS discussions’ ahead of a Monday Night Football meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers. The message? Stop pointing fingers. ‘We are all done with the finger-pointing,’ one Philly player told me. ‘It’s not just one thing that’s in our way. It’s not just Jalen (Hurts), it’s not just Saquon (Barkley), it’s not just (OC Kevin) Patullo, it’s not just the offensive line. … It’s a little bit of everyone.”

The Eagles are 23rd in the NFL in passing yards, 22nd in rushing yards and 19th in points per game. Things have been so bad that OC Kevin Patullo’s New Jersey home was vandalized with eggs.

Patullo took over as OC for Kellen Moore, who left the Eagles in the offseason to become the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Philadelphia fans booed the offense all game long against the Chicago Bears on Black Friday.

“When you talk about what had happened, ultimately you want to be able to separate job from your family. That line was crossed. It was an unfortunate incident and that was the part that happened. Us as a family, we know we’ve got to stick together,” Patullo said.

“We’ve had a great experience here in Philadelphia. It’s a very special, unique place to work and I look forward to all the more games we have and finishing strong in the season.”

The Eagles are in first place in the NFC East. They are currently the third seed in the NFC playoff picture.
