Safety Eric Murray will be available for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ crucial Week 14 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Jaguars announced on Saturday that Murray has been designated to return from injured reserve.

Murray was placed on injured reserve prior to the team’s Week 9 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders due to a neck injury.
He returned to practice in Week 13 before the Tennessee game. The Jaguars were without Murray for five games.
Without Murray, Antonio Johnson stepped into the starting role next to Andrew Wingard. Rayuan Lane was the third safety when needed.
This week, Wingard has been ruled out due to a concussion. So it will be Murray and Johnson starting at safety against Indianapolis.
This season, Murray has four quarterback pressures as a blitzer and has made 34 total tackles. In coverage, he has one interception, three pass breakups, and is giving up 12.1 yards per catch, per PFF.

In order to make room on the 53-man roster for Murray, the Jaguars released running back Cody Schrader. As the fourth running back on the roster, Schrader has been a healthy scratch in each game this season.
Schrader was originally signed earlier this season by the Jaguars off the LA Rams practice squad. Schrader was also released before the Jaguars’ Week 5 game against Kansas City, before being signed back a few days later.
