The Ravens’ entire 53-man roster was healthy with just two players on PUP and IR ruled out this week. With Nnamdi Madubuike, Broderick Washington Jr. and Taven Bryan on IR, the Ravens have been shuffling around their defensive line for most of the season. Tupou gives them an eight-year veteran that is very familiar with the Steelers and AFC North football.

Starting his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, Tupou has been in the AFC North for his entire career. This will be his fifth appearance with the Ravens in his two seasons there. He played 30 snaps in late September against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It’s been awhile, but Tupou has faced the Steelers eight times in his career as a member of the Bengals.

Kane has appeared in six games for the Ravens this year. Originally a 2024 seventh-round pick, he was waived at the beginning of November and re-signed to their practice squad. This will be his first practice squad elevation of the year and his seventh game appearance.

In his other six games, Kane played just 12 total defensive snaps, but he logged a whopping 140 on special teams. That is what he will primarily be doing for the Ravens once again on Sunday. He plays on all five units, including 18 snaps as a personal protector on the punt coverage unit. He has just one tackle this season in 140 special teams snaps.

The Steelers also elevated two players, including WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling and OT Dylan Cook. Read more about the Steelers’ moves below as the two teams prepare to face off at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday afternoon in Baltimore.
