NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns will face off Sunday afternoon at Huntington Bank Field with history on the line.
Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is the NFL’s season leader in sacks with 19 through 12 games. He is four sacks shy of the league’s single season record, currently at 22.5, shared by Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt and Pro Football Hall of Famer, former Giants defensive end, Michael Strahan.
The statistics do not bode in the Titans’ favor, with Garrett sitting four sacks shy of the record, and Tennessee giving up an average of four sacks per game. Rookie Cam Ward is the most-sacked quarterback in the league, with 48 total takedowns.
Another storyline to watch is the rookie quarterback battle between Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
The Browns rookie QB is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. Ward and Sanders have worked out together and consider each other friends, but they’ll flip to competitors on Sunday when the Titans and Browns kick off at 12 p.m.
