Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay will coach through an illness on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

McVay reportedly is not traveling with his team to Arizona due to the illness and is flying separately.

Cardinals-Rams kicks off from State Farm Stadium in Glendale at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday. The roof is expected to be open.

According to ESPN, McVay was present at the Rams’ practice on Friday and spoke to reporters during his regularly scheduled press conference on Friday morning.

The Rams have remained relatively heathy despite McVay’s sickness. Only cornerback Darious Williams (doubtful, tibia), receiver Tutu Atwell (questionable, hamstring) and nose tackle Poona Ford (questionable, calf) are listed on the team’s injury report.

Listen to the game on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app with play-by-play man Dave Pasch and color commentator A.Q. Shipley on the call.
