The Arizona Cardinals made several roster moves on Saturday, including placing wide receiver Greg Dortch on injured reserve.

Dortch (chest) did not practice this week and on Friday was ruled out for Sunday’s contest against the Los Angeles Rams. Dortch had played in all 12 games this season, catching 29 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cardinals elevated receivers Jalen Brooks and Trent Sherfield Sr. from the practice squad as standard elevations. Additionally, linebacker Channing Tindall was signed to the active roster from the practice squad.

The news comes as the Cardinals will be without second-year wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. on Sunday against the Rams due to a heel injury.

More details on Cardinals roster moves

Sherfield was signed as an undrafted free agent and was with the Cardinals for three seasons (2018-20). Since then, Sherfield has spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos.

The Cardinals signed Sherfield to the practice squad on Nov. 19. He has played in 122 games across eight seasons, catching 89 passes for 1,034 yards and six touchdowns.

Drafted by Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round in 2023, Brooks appeared in 21 games with the Cowboys in two seasons (2023-24) and caught 18 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown.

Tindall has previously played in two games for the Cardinals this season. He has appeared in 46 games in four NFL seasons with the Cardinals and Dolphins (2022-24) and has registered 18 tackles.
