These NFC West rivals haven’t met this season. Their most recent matchup was nearly one year ago, in Week 17 of 2024, when Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray threw a potential game-winning touchdown off the facemask of Trey McBride for an interception.

The last time they played in Arizona, the Cardinals won, 41-10. Now the Cards catch the Rams off a disappointing loss at Carolina, as Los Angeles is on the road for a second straight week looking for a bounce back.

The Rams will certainly be wary, knowing a 3-9 record is no reason to overlook the competitive Cardinals, who happen to be a division rival.

Here’s a quick glance at Sunday’s game:

LAST TIME OUT: Rams lost 31-28 at Carolina; Cardinals lost 20-17 in Tampa.

LAST MEETING: The Rams defeated the Cardinals, 13-9, on Dec. 28, 2024.

VEGAS LINE (courtesy Westgate): Rams -10, O/U 48

BETTING TRENDS: After having their six-game win streak snapped last week in Carolina, the Rams have now covered five of their last seven. They’ve stayed under in five of their last seven. The Cardinals are mired in losing skids of 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS. They’ve gone over in six of their last eight. The Rams are on winning runs of 6-2 SU and 5-3 ATS in this series.

RAMS KEY PLAYERS: QB Matthew Stafford passed for 243 yards and two TDs in Week 13. He ranks first in the NFL this season with 32 TDs and is tied for fourth with 266 completions and is fourth with 3,073 yards passing. He is one of three QBs with a TD pass in 12 consecutive games this season. … RB Kyren Williams had 72 yards rushing and a TD in Week 13. He has 70 or more yards rushing in four of his past five games and has a rush touchdown in four of his past five. … WR Davante Adams continues to enjoy one of his most productive seasons, and rolls in after 2 receiving TDs in last week’s loss. Adams leads the NFL with 14 receiving TDs this season. He has a TD catch in six consecutive games, the longest active streak in NFL this season.

PROP TO WATCH: Kyren Williams anytime TD (-110)

Williams has been a viable asset for Stafford, as he’s taken pressure off the MVP-candidate quarterback by sustaining his role as a constant threat. He’s scored at least one rushing TD in four of the last five games, and could easily get one against a Cardinals defense that has allowed 11 TDs to running backs this season, tied for seventh most this season. Make note, the Cardinals have also allowed four receiving TDs by running backs, tied for second most in the NFL.

CARDINALS KEY PLAYERS: QB Jacoby Brissett passed for 301 yards and two TDs for a 100.1 rating last week. Brissett has 250 or more yards passing with a TD in all seven starts this season. Brissett ranks first with 2,188 yards passing and first with 204 completions since Week 6. He’s aiming for his fourth straight with 300 or more yards passing with a TD. … RB Bam Knight turned in 98 scrimmage yards and a receiving touchdown last week, and now aims for his fourth in a row with a scrimmage TD. … WR Marvin Harrison Jr. had six receptions for 69 yards last week. He now has 50 or more yards receiving in three of his past four and a TD catch in two of his past three.

PROP TO WATCH: Jacoby Brissett over 260 yards (+100)

Brissett has been solid for the Cardinals, even if they can’t find a way to win. He’s thrown for 301 or more yards in three straight games, and would have eclipsed 260 yards in six of seven appearances this season. The Rams have done a good job at limiting the damage through the air, but this could become a quarterback shootout.
