If the Bucs don’t make the playoffs, that’s on them. Because BSPN believes the road to the playoffs for the Bucs is paved with cupcakes.
In November, the Bucs demonstrated they can’t hang with good teams and struggle to beat bad teams, winning by a field goal.
The Bucs did not play like a good team in November. But according to BSPN Research, that doesn’t matter. No playoff contender has an easier path final five games than the Bucs, per the four-letter.
What’s at stake: The Buccaneers have a half-game lead over the Panthers for first place in NFC South. They also have the second-easiest remaining strength of schedule, according to ESPN Analytics, ahead of only the Saints.
So now, Joe has one wish for the Bucs if the players haven’t already checked out. If you believe you are a good team, a playoff team, then act like it and smash the slimy Saints today!
It would be a crying shame if the schedule is loaded with cupcakes, and the Bucs, rather than crush them and win the division, decide to eat the cupcakes instead and are watching the playoffs on the couch or at a beach bar in the DR just like you and Joe.
