Eagles added a ‘Vibes Bunny’ to help boost morale in locker room

The Eagles are searching for answers to a two-game losing streak, and another trip to the Super Bowl could be contingent on the good vibes brought to the NovaCare Complex by a bunny rabbit. The team is set to fly to Los Angeles for a critical Monday night matchup against the Chargers, and positivity was high thanks to a ‘Vibes Bunny’ inserted into the locker room.

Similar to a scene in the 1989 hit’ Major League’ when team manager Lo Brown starts a running gag where he places a cardboard cutout Cleveland Indians’ villain owner, Rachel Phelps, in a bathing suit, and after each win, the players rip off a piece of her clothing as a celebration, part of their plan to reverse-tank the season but ultimately leading them to win the division.

On Saturday, a “Vibes Bunny” or “Positivity Bunny Rabbit” popped up in the middle of the NovaCare Complex lockeroom. The Bunny made its debut days after offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo had his house egged following the loss to the Bears.

They start taking the bunny’s clothes off, I might have to leave the job.

The good vibes and positivity are certainly needed.

There have been calls for first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo to be fired or stripped of play-calling duties. On Monday, after another disappointing outing, head coach Sirianni expressed further support for Kevin Patullo, stating he will continue as the offensive playcaller.

The Eagles are 10-of-35 on 3rd down over their last three games (28.6%) and were 4-of-12 on Friday, running 51 plays compared to the Bears’ 85. Philadelphia had 317 total yards, was 1-2 in the red zone, and held the ball for 20:42. It was another dreadful performance from the Eagles’ offense, and it’ll be highlighted by Ben Johnson’s play-calling brilliance with the Bears.

This coaching matchup features Nick Sirianni (.700, 56-24) and Jim Harbaugh (.683, 63-29-1), who rank 1st and 2nd, respectively, among active NFL head coaches in career winning percentage. According to Elias Sports, this is the first time two head coaches with 75+ career games and a .680+ career winning percentage met during the regular season since Mike Ditka (Chicago) and Joe Gibbs (Washington) on 11/13/88
