Rams and Seahawks battle for the NFC West with the 49ers close behind
The NFC West race is heating up as the Rams and Seahawks battle for the top spot while the 49ers stay close behind.
No team needed a vacation more than the San Francisco 49ers.
They are clinging to a playoff spot, but are also firmly in the NFC West race at the same time. Despite that, Kyle Shanahan’s team is battered and bruised as the season winds down.
Nick Bosa and Fred Warner are out for the season, but San Francisco’s defense continues to get the job done. Brock Purdy missed plenty of time for the offense, but Mac Jones kept them afloat long enough for Purdy’s return to mean something.
Now the 49ers have their eyes set on the postseason, but not before taking a week to collect themselves. There is plenty of work left to be done in the season’s final weeks – especially when the Super Bowl party is at their house this year.
Here’s what to know about Week 14.
