Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Parker Washington is not expected to play in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Ian Rapoport.
Washington was listed as questionable on the Jaguars‘ final injury report. He suffered a hip injury in the Jaguars’ Week 13 win over the Tennessee Titans.
After not practicing on Wednesday, Washington was limited on Thursday and Friday.
Liam Coen said earlier in the week that if Washington can’t go, a combination of Tim Patrick and Dyami Brown will help fill his role on offense.
Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers will, of course, lead the way at wide receiver.
On special teams, Austin Trammell, who was elevated from the practice squad, will handle punt return duties.
As the season has progressed, Washington’s role on offense has increased. On the year, he’s caught 36-of-57 passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns.
Of his 36 receptions, 23 have gone for a first down. Washington has two punt returns for touchdowns as well.
Sunday’s game against the Colts is going to be a big one, with sole possession of the AFC South on the line.
