The Steelers claimed wide receiver Adam Thielen off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings, signed cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. from the practice squad and waived cornerback Darius Slay.

Cornerback Donte Kent had his 21-day practice window open, but was re-injured and will miss the rest of the season.

Offensive tackle Dylan Cook and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling were elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.

The Steelers also re-signed defensive back Daequan Hardy and linebacker Kana’i Mauga to their practice squad and released wide receiver Cornell Powell from their practice squad.

The Steelers lost to the Ravens, 28-14 in the AFC Wild Card playoff round last January.

Derrick Henry rushed for 186 of the Ravens’ record-breaking 299 yards on the ground. Lamar Jackson rushed for 81 and threw for another 175 yards as the Ravens raced up and down the field against a helpless Pittsburgh defense.

Russell Wilson threw for two touchdowns and 270 yards, but also lost a fumble, and the Pittsburgh rushing offense never got out of park, with Najee Harris running six times for 17 yards.

STEELERS-RAVENS SERIES

This will be the 64th meeting between the team since the Baltimore franchise was founded when it moved from Cleveland in 1996. The Steelers lead the all-time series 36-27, and most of that advantage has happened recently. Pittsburgh has won seven of the last 10 games against the Ravens.

The Steelers lost twice in Baltimore last year, losing in the playoffs and the regular season, but had own the previous four straight in M&T Bank Stadium and six of the last seven.
