As expected, Pro Bowl safety Julian Love and veteran defensive tackle Jarran Reed are both active for the Seattle Seahawks’ Week 14 road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Stacy Rost: 2 numbers that matter for Seahawks vs Falcons
Love and Reed were both activated off injured reserve on Saturday after returning to practice earlier in the week. Love has missed nine of Seattle’s 12 games with a hamstring injury, including each of the past eight games. Reed missed the past four games after undergoing surgery to repair a wrist/thumb injury.
With Love and Reed back, the Seahawks are set to have their entire starting defense available for the first time this season.
Seattle’s inactives for Sunday are rookie third-string quarterback Jalen Milroe, running back Cam Akers, rookie offensive tackle/guard Mason Richman, rookie edge rusher Connor O’Toole, rookie edge rusher Jared Ivey and veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin. Milroe will serve as the emergency third quarterback.
All six of the Seahawks’ inactives are healthy scratches, as none of the players on Seattle’s 53-man roster are unavailable due to injury.
