The New England Patriots are on their bye week, which means they will not be playing in a game this week.
It’s convenient timing for the team given the number of injuries they have dealt with in recent weeks. Defensive tackle Milton Williams and left tackle Will Campbell are both on injured reserve, while defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga and left guard Jared Wilson have also been sidelined with injuries.

The extra week of rest gives those players and others a chance to heal and prepare for the final stretch of the season.
It has been a successful run up to this point with the team improving to 11-2 and winning 10 straight games. The Patriots haven’t lost since September, and they recently dominated in a 33-15 blowout win over the New York Giants.
They are slated to return to action at home in a much-anticipated rematch with the Buffalo Bills at 1:00 p.m. ET on December 14. The last three remaining games after that matchup are against the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.
