The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets have released their respective inactive players lists for the AFC East rivals’ Week 14 matchup. These lists drop the teams from the 53-man in-season roster limit to the game-day limit of 48 players.
Miami listed quarterback Quinn Ewers, cornerback A.J. Green III, linebacker Andre Carter II, tackle Kendall Lamm, wide receiver Tahj Washington, and defensive tackle Matthew Butler as inactive. The Dolphins elevated offensive lineman Kion Smith off the practice squad for today’s game.
New York’s inactive list is headlined by quarterback Justin Fields, who was ruled out of the contest on Friday with a knee injury. Fields was demoted to the second-string quarterback, with Tyrod Taylor taking over as the starter, but he will not be available as the backup for this game. Also inactive are wide receiver Tyler Johnson, safety Tony Adams, defensive back Ja’Sir Taylor, edge rusher Braiden McGregor, defensive lineman Mazi Smith, and tight end Jelani Woods.
Kickoff is at 1 p.m. from East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium.
