The Atlanta Falcons fell to 4-9 on the season following their 37-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. While the playoffs have seemingly been off the table for weeks, Sunday’s loss officially eliminated the team from post-season contention.

The only real discussion that needs to be had is who will lead the Falcons into the 2026 season? Before we look ahead to another long offseason, though, let’s check out the studs and duds from Week 14.

Stud: TE Kyle Pitts

Without Drake London in the lineup, Kyle Pitts led the team in receiving yards for the second week in a row. The fifth-year tight end finished Sunday’s game with six receptions for 90 yards. Pitts has stepped up over the last two weeks with 13 catches for 172 receiving yards. This is what you’d hope to see from a player who is up for a contract renewal this offseason.

Dud: HB Bijan Robinson

Robinson didn’t have a typical day up to his standards and the team fails whenever this happens. Even when the Falcons were looking to potentially score, Robinson fumbled the ball and gave the momentum right back to Seattle. The star running back has had better days, and Sunday just wasn’t one of them.

Stud: James Pearce Jr

Regardless of how you feel about the Falcons trading away next year’s first-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams, James Pearce Jr. has delivered for them thus far. Pearce recorded a sack in his fifth straight game, and is now tied with Brandon Dorlus for the most on the team with six.

Dud: WR David Sills V

David Sills recorded zero receptions but still managed to have a negative impact on Sunday’s game. He was flagged for holding downfield on a screen pass and then later contributed to a Kirk Cousins interception by bobbling the ball and tossing it in the air in the process. It wasn’t quite as bad as Travis Kelce’s Sunday night debacle, but it wasn’t a good look.

Dud: Falcons special teams

Atlanta has arguably the worst special teams unit in the entire league right now. Somehow, Sunday’s game was even worse than last weekend. Not only did the Falcons allow a field goal to be blocked, but they kicked the ball out of bounds and allowed another kickoff to be returned for a touchdown. Week 14 was an awful showing for Atlanta’s special-teamers.

Dud: Head coach Raheem Morris

The Raheem Morris era will almost certainly come to an end once the season is over. At this point, it’s just a matter of when Arthur Blank makes the decision. The Falcons were supposed to reach the next level with Morris leading the way and two starting-caliber quarterbacks to shore up the team’s biggest weakness. And despite the contributions from the team’s excellent draft class, the Falcons are on pace for their worst season since 2020.
