The event, which is being held at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center, will provide a chance for fans to meet Morris and learn more about the Cowboys’ 25th head football coach. Morris was named Oklahoma State’s new football coach before the Thanksgiving holiday. He had been North Texas’ head coach since the 2023 season, improving the Mean Green from a 5-7 team during his first season to an 11-2 season in 2025. Morris and North Texas lost their most recent game in the American Conference Championship Game, missing out on a College Football Playoff appearance. Morris has coached, developed or recruited Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, John Mateer, Cam Ward, Chandler Morris, Drew Mestemaker and more. The Cowboys went 1-11 this past season, firing longtime head coach Mike Gundy following the loss to Tulsa in mid-September.
