I do want to talk about the Texans.
I teased them a little before the break.
I’m starting to look around this AFC, and say, What do I trust?
Like, the Patriots have a great record.
Drake May is having a great season.
Great coach.
This is going to be Drake May’s first playoff.
Ah, I don’t really trust their defense.
They’re not very good metrically.
The Broncostheir offense isnt good, we know that.
Like, it’s very, very inconsistent.
Yeah, Sean Payton could scheme things up.
And they can get on a roll, but someone is gonna be flawed coming out of the AFC.
So why not have the best defense in football?

I, I, I don’t think anybody argues this is the best defensive football.
I know, maybe Broncos fans, maybe Seahawks fans would, but you’re wrong.
The Texans have the best defensive football.
We saw them dominate in a three-week stretch, destroy Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
They sacked Allen eight times in that game.
We all saw that on Thursday night.
Last night, Patrick Mahomes had a 19 passer rating.
19.
Like, that seemed unfathomable to me.
That would ever happen to Patrick Mahomes in an actual NFL game.
But it happened because this defense is strong, and when you look back, They’ve won five in a row, and four of those wins are against the Jaguars.

Who are pretty much a lock to make playoffs now.
They beat the Bills, a team locked in playoffs and now are poised to make a strong run.
They beat the Colts, a playoff-quality team.
I mean, with Daniel Jones in the lineup, then they won yesterday against the Chiefs.
Like, why not the Texans?
Why can’t the Texans pull a 2015 Broncos?
And make it all the way to the Super Bowl?
Because I don’t see any unit in the NFL that I Have more trust in than Houston’s defense.
Now, their offense is a big problem.
24th in DVOA, 24th in EPA per play.
Like, this is not a good offense.
It’s like they still have issues on the line, but CJ Straw is a good quarterback.

And some of these young receivers and their young running back, Woody Marks is really coming along, making enough plays.
Somebody flawed is coming out of the AFC.
So why not a team flawed on offense, yes, but also with the best defensive football?
Houston Texans.
I’m jumping on board to say that, You know, they look like the hottest team in the AFC, and I see no reason they can’t.
Pretty much ran the table from here to the Super Bowl.
Like, its just, again, in a normal AFC I dont know if Id pick a team this bad Of an offense, but this is not a normal AFC.
This is a wide-open AFC, and they have the one Bankable asset other than Josh Allen, that’s gonna be in the AFC playoff picture.
And we saw what happened when Houston played Josh Allen a few weeks ago.
