BROWNS OL TORE ACHILLES
The Cleveland Browns have had an ugly season. They’re currently 3-10, one of the worst teams in the league. The Steelers beat them earlier in the season, but they’ve still got one game left against the Browns. The two teams will face off in Week 17. While the Browns might have found some improvement under center, their offensive line is going to be weaker in that matchup.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on Twitter that Browns center Ethan Pocic tore his Achilles and is out for the season. He’s been with the Browns since 2022, being a starter for much of that time. Losing him will be a significant blow to their offense.

DOLPHINS RB AVOIDS SERIOUS INJURY
The Steelers just scored a big win against the Baltimore Ravens. That puts them in first place in the AFC North. However, they can’t take their foot off the gas. They’ll play the Miami Dolphins in Week 15. While the Dolphins struggled to start the year, they’ve been better recently. Unfortunately, De’Von Achane, their star running back, left their Week 14 game with an injury.
However, it looks like he avoided a serious injury. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reported that Achane wanted to return in the Dolphins’ Week 14 game, and that he’s “highly motivated” to play against the Steelers this week. Achane has had a strong season, so we’ll see if he’s healthy when the Dolphins travel to Pittsburgh.
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane rib injury Sunday came from falling on ball. He was adamant to Mike McDaniel he could have returned to game and he’s highly motivated to play next Monday vs. Steelers.
No fracture, he had MRI. Just treatment and maybe a little practice rest. Good news.

RAVENS OL SUSPENDED
The Ravens’ season has seen a ton of ups and downs. They started out at 1-5 but battled back to take first place in the AFC North. However, the last two weeks saw them lose two divisional games. Now, they’re 6-7 and in danger of not making the playoffs. The hits didn’t stop coming for the Ravens after their loss to the Steelers, too.
The Ravens announced on Twitter that offensive lineman Ben Cleveland has been suspended for their next three games for violating the NFL’s Substances of Abuse Policy. He’s been with the team since 2021, mostly serving as a backup. That leaves them a little thinner along their offensive line during a stretch where they’ll need to play their best football.
