Just like in 2024, the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers won’t have extra cameras following them around at Bank of America Stadium.
Despite their dead heat atop the NFC South, the Panthers and Bucs will not be flexed into prime-time viewing for Week 16. That week’s Sunday night slot, as announced on Monday, is set to be filled by the matchup between New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens—replacing the Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins.
Tampa Bay’s 24-20 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 14 moved them into a tie with Carolina for first place in the NFC South. The Panthers’ share of the top spot is the highest they’ve been in the division this late in a season since 2017, the year of their last playoff berth.
But the battle for the NFC South might still have another chance at the national stage, as the two teams will also face off in Week 18.
So keep those schedules open, Panthers fans.
