Some of the recent weeks we’ve marched through carried the same mantra: The Baltimore Ravens haven’t reached desperation yet. That’s what we told ourselves. It’s time we toss such thoughts aside. The Ravens have zero room remaining for any error.
We worried early, but then, we dismissed them. They began 1-5, but everyone kept hanging on to the calendar date and the fact that more games remained on the schedule than they had played.

All they needed was for their division rivals to hit a snag while they caught fire. Wishes were granted. The Pittsburgh Steelers began 4-1, but they lost five of their next seven to land at 6-6 ahead of their Week 14 trip to Baltimore, Maryland.
The Ravens took a slightly different path to land at an identical 6-6 record. Five straight wins followed the 1-5 start, but unfortunately, Baltimore has lost two straight. Both games were at home. Both losses were suffered at the hands of divisional rivals.
They lost to the now 4-9 Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving. Sunday’s disappointment vs. the now 7-6 Steelers drops the Ravens to 6-7. Four games remain in the 2025-26 regular season. We can no longer rationalize the losses and explain the diminishing reasons for hope.
The Baltimore Ravens have no more room for error.
There’s a new rallying cry in the Ravens’ locker room, or at least it should be if there isn’t. Statements like ‘Everyone in this locker room still believes’ must be retired.

We’re over ‘All we need to do is get on a roll’. We’re done with praying for Steelers losses. Baltimore must handle its own business. Then again, it would be nice if the Steelers could lose again over these next three games.
If they can do that (and it’s possible), and the Ravens could win three straight, that sets up a regular-season finale for all of the marbles in the AFC North. There’s one way to the postseason for Pittsburgh or Baltimore: winning the division.
Again, the Bengals are 4-9. The Cleveland Browns are even worse (3-10). Technically, the Bengals aren’t eliminated. The winner of the AFC North could realistically claim the crown with eight or nine wins.
This seems like a two-team race, and the Ravens have no margin for any more errors. They must finish strong if they hope to earn a spot in the NFL’s postseason.
