Why are the Houston Texans now ranked 7th team in your power rankings?
Uh, it was a bit of a jump up, but I, you know, watching them go on the road to Arrowhead Stadium and hold Patrick Mahomes to a passer rating of 191.9.
Like, if you spike the ball into the ground, every play, Your passer rating is like 37.
Like, it was amazingly higher than Jalen.
Hurts last night.
And you know what, I, I, my, My good buddy FitzI heard him, you know, before the break, Uh, talking about how he trusts Josh Allen so much in the AFC.
Well, I saw the Texas defense play Josh Allen three weeks ago.
It was not pretty on the Bills’ side of it, This Texans team now has won five in a row, And these are quality wins; they’re stacking up to beat the Jaguars.

Who are in the playoffs.
They beat the Bills, now the AFC’s favorites to bet on at MGM, Which is crazy to me; beat the Colts when they were still healthy and a viable team.
And then they went at the Chiefs.
That’s for the last five games.
Like, those are quality wins.
And they just passed the eye test.
You watch his team every week, Defensively, and you’re like, this is it.
The ’20s they’re giving off, such 2015 Broncos vibes to me, Where the offense is just broken, like the offense is not very good.
I get that, and it’s hard to reach Super Bowl with an offense that bad, But the defense is just so good, it doesn’t matter.

They are shutting everybody’s water off.
It is very impressive what the Texans are Doing, and, you know, the whole like, who Do we trust in the AFC?
Everybody’s got flaws.
So if you say, like, the Texans’ offense isn’t Good enough to make the Super Bowl most years I’d agree.
And this year, I’m like, well, give me any team in the AFC, and I’ll tell you what the flaw is.
Like, for the Bills, it’s everything except number 17.
Like, I mean, its, you know, for the Broncos, its their offense.
For the Patriots, it’s kind of everything, like, I, I mean, The Patriots’ metrics are very low for 11 and 2 teams.
So, in this really, really flawed AFC, why not the Texans?

Why not just pick the one reliable unit in the NFL, which is their defense.
I heard someone describe the Texans’ defense as a bunch of gremlins running around.
And it’s so true.
They punish; they beat the heck out of you.
Oh, it is.
It’s demo; Ryan’s hats off.
They have really put together great defense.
Out there.
You got Petri running around, Almost decapitating dudes, and Will Anderson and Hunter off the edge.
Nobody can block them; it’s just week after week I watch that defense, And I’m like, they’re the one team that stands out right now, is the one that’s peaking at the Right time.
