Nacua was special on Sunday in Arizona, setting a PFF record with a 97.4 grade

In the Los Angeles Rams’ win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Puka Nacua had the best game of his career. He hauled in seven passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns, making five contested catches, including a one-hander in traffic.

It was a spectacular performance by the Rams star. In fact, it was so good that PFF gave him the highest single-game grade ever by a wide receiver. His 97.4 overall grade eclipsed the previous record held by Julio Jones, who had a 96.8 grade in Week 12 of the 2017 season.

In that game, Jones caught 12 of 15 targets for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

After that outstanding performance in Week 14, Nacua now has the highest grade of any wide receiver this season. His season grade is 94.6, slightly ahead of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, whose grade is 93.6.

Both players are having terrific seasons; Smith-Njigba leads the league in receiving with 1,428 yards, while Nacua is tied with Trey McBride for the most receptions in football with 93 and ranks second with 1,186 yards.

It’s hard to believe Nacua could possibly be getting better after two eye-popping seasons in 2023 and 2024, but he just keeps improving.
