2. What is the Chargers record?

The Chargers sit at 9-4 and are firmly in playoff contention with four games left.

The Bolts, who have won five of their past six games, sit at second place in the AFC West and are one of two teams in the division with a winning record.

Monday night’s win also made sure the Chargers still have a chance to catch the 11-2 Broncos, who lead the division and have won 10 straight games.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Chiefs (6-7) and Raiders (2-11) are both below .500.

3. Who stood out in the win?

In terms of Pro Football Focus grades, cornerback Donte Jackson earned the Chargers top overall mark at 91.6. Jackson notched an interception Monday and is now tied for the team lead with four picks.

Offensively, left tackle Jamaree Salyer posted a 76.2 grade to lead that side of the ball while Cameron Dicker’s 89.0 special teams grade was critical.

Dicker hit all five of his field goal attempts, and also added an extra point, to give him 16 total points on the night.

But Herbert was the star Monday, even if it wasn’t the best statistical game of his career (139 passing yards with a touchdown, and interception and a lost fumble).

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Herbert was pressured on 68.3 percent of his dropbacks, the sixth-highest percentage in a game over the last 10 seasons among quarterbacks with at least 20 dropbacks.

All of this after surgery on his hand seven days before kickoff on Monday.

“Knowing a guy like Justin Herbert will go out there seven days after surgery and play,” Khalil Mack said. “It’s like, ‘Who else in the league is doing that?'”

Cam Hart added: “He’s a dog. A beast. The best I’ve ever seen. I have immense respect for Justin.”
