The 2025 NFL schedule is out, and the New England Patriots know the path ahead of them for the upcoming season.

No path is easy in the NFL, and it’s hard to know exactly how a team will perform on paper matchups alone. So much can happen between now and the start of the season. However, given the easier strength of schedule, the Patriots are in a good position to make some noise this year.

It helps that the AFC East division has seemingly taken a step back. Granted, the Buffalo Bills are still sitting on the throne, but there’s hope that New England has closed the gap through the many roster improvements made in free agency and the NFL draft.

It also helps that the Patriots have drawn the struggling NFC South as their opponents this year. That division had the second-fewest wins in the league last season. According to DraftKings, the Patriots are favored in 11 games on the 2025 schedule.
