The NFL is now heading into Week 15, and things are starting to get pretty serious. The top teams in the league have established themselves, while the bottom teams are beginning to lock down top 10 picks in the 2026 NFL draft.Â
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers renewed their rivalry on Sunday. Unlike most years, however, this game had implications not only within the division but within the conference. Green Bay was able to narrowly edge out Chicago to move into first place in the NFC North for now. So how did that result impact the overall power rankings?Â
With that in mind, here’s a look at our Week 15 power rankings:
The Contenders
1. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week: 1)
2. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week: 3)
3. Denver Broncos (Last Week: 4)
4. Green Bay Packers (Last Week: 9)
5. Chicago Bears (Last Week: 5)
6. New England Patriots (Last Week: 6)
7. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week: 7)
8. Detroit Lions (Last Week: 10)
9. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week: 14)
10. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week: 2)
11. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week: 12)
12. Buffalo Bills (Last Week: 8)
The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t fall out of this tier after their second loss in a row, and nobody wants to play them in the playoffs, but this is their worst stretch of the season. Although the Bears lost to the Packers, it was by one touchdown, and they’ve already proved that they belong in this tier for right now. Green Bay jumped them, but staying at fifth seems fair for Ben Johnson’s team. With the Detroit Lions right behind them, three of the four NFC North teams are in the top 10. Three of the four teams in the NFC West are also in the top 10. All of these teams in both NFC divisions have to be seen as Super Bowl threats at this time. The Los Angeles Chargers are back in the contender tier. After their big Monday Night Football win over the Eagles, they deserve their flowers.
Teams To Watch
13. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week: 11)
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week: 20)
15. Houston Texans (Last Week: 16)
16. Baltimore Ravens (Last Week: 13)
17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week: 15)
18. Carolina Panthers (Last Week: 17)
19. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week: 18)
20. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week: 19)
21. Miami Dolphins (Last Week: 21)
The Indianapolis Colts are having quarterback trouble with Daniel Jones’ injury, which prompted them to bring Phillip Rivers out of retirement. The Houston Texans are begging to make it to the top tier, but they still have something to prove outside of their dominant defense. Their win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football was impressive, but they aren’t even that good right now. At 6-7, the Chiefs are only in this tier out of respect for the quarterback and coach. Another loss and they will be dropped even further. The Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be higher, but they all do things that make folks lose confidence in them. The rest of the teams in this tier are just middling.
A Lot to Work On
22. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week: 22)
23. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week: 24)
24. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week: 23)
25. Washington Commanders (Last Week: 25)
26. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week: 26)
27. New Orleans Saints (Last Week: 27)
28. New York Jets (Last Week: 29)
29. New York Giants (Last Week: 31)
30. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week: 30)
31. Tennessee Titans (Last Week: 32)
32. Cleveland Browns (Last Week: 28)
The Cincinnati Bengals had a close loss to the Buffalo Bills. Joe Burrow clearly makes them a contending team, but they have no chance of being a playoff squad because of all the time he missed. It’s a shame. The Minnesota Vikings, as a result, are the only team capable of pulling themselves back out of this tier, but they’d almost have to run the table. The rest of the teams can be pronounced bad and have no chance of being in the playoffs this year.
