The New York Giants hosted six players on Tuesday, five of whom were punters and one of whom might be familiar to Giants fans.
Per the daily transaction wire, the five punters were Jake Camarda, Cameron Johnston, Pat O’Donnell, Brad Robbins, and Ryan Stonehouse. The sixth man whose name Giants fans might recognize was defensive end Niko Lalos.
Camarda played his college ball at Georgia. He initially was a fourth-round pick by the Bucs in 2022, No. 133 overall.Â
He spent almost three seasons with Tampa Bay before losing his job to Trenton Gill in October of 2024.Â
Camarda then signed with the Bills’ practice squad in January of this year, but was waived on July 22 and has been out of football since.
O’Donnell is the most experienced of the group that the Giants hosted. He was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2014 draft out of Miami (Fla.) by the Bears, for whom he played until the 2021 season.Â
He then bounced around the league, making stops with the Packers, Falcons, Packers practice squad in 2023, 49ers, and, most recently, the Cardinals.
The Cardinals released O’Donnell on November 18.
Robbins played his college ball at Michigan. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2023 draft by the Bengals, for whom he played two seasons.Â
He began this season with the Bills before being released on September 8. He was most recently on the Raiders practice squad
Stonehouse was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 draft out of Colorado State.Â
He spent the 2022-24 seasons with the Titans, leading the league in punts placed inside the 20-yard line during the 2024 season, when he was also named as an alternate Pro Bowl selection.
Stonehouse was most recently with the Dolphins, with whom he signed this past offseason. He was waived on August 19.

Lalos signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Dartmouth in 2020.Â
He was with Big Blue for two seasons, but only appeared in six games for the Giants, notching six tackles (two solos) and one interception.
Lalos signed with the Saints during the 2023 offseason, but didn’t make the roster and would later join the team’s practice squad later that season.Â
In 2022, Lalos was also drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL but was released from his contract to pursue an NFL career.Â
He had a second stint with the Saints in 2023, spending most of that season and the 2024 campaign on the New Orleans practice squad.
The Giants also terminated the practice squad contract of defensive back Myles Purchase, whom the team signed on November 25.
