The Miami Dolphins signed linebacker K.C. Ossai to their practice squad, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.
Miami had a vacancy on their practice squad after rookie wide receiver A.J. Henning was suspended last week for a violation of the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
Ossai played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette where he was a First Team All-Sun Belt selection in his senior season. After he was unselected in the 2025 NFL draft, Ossai joined the Houston Texans and put together a strong preseason with seven tackles, a quarterback hit, and a fumble recovery.
Ossai’s 80.2 grade from PFF was third highest on the Texans defense in preseason behind only starters Henry To’oTo’o and Danielle Hunter.
The Texans brought back Ossai as a member of their practice squad, but released him prior to their Week 1 debut.
