The fantasy football playoffs are here, and the pressure is on to put together your best lineup possible.

A big part of that is picking the right quarterback, and with all 32 teams in action in NFL Week 15, there are plenty of directions to go, from MVP candidates like Matthew Stafford and Drake Maye to rookies like Jaxson Dart, or perhaps even Shedeur Sanders.

Let’s get into our list of the five best options to start at quarterback in NFL Week 15 to give you the best chance of staying alive in the fantasy playoffs.

And no, we won’t be recommending new Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers.

Stafford and the NFC-leading Rams bounced back from their shock loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 13 with a rout of the Arizona Cardinals, with the 37-year-old recording his seventh three-touchdown game of the season.

Facing a Lions defense that allows the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs this season, Stafford is a must-start in round one of the fantasy playoffs.

Joe Burrow (vs. Baltimore Ravens)

Burrow has looked like his usual self since returning from injury on Thanksgiving night.

In two games back, he has accumulated 44.6 fantasy points and six touchdown passes. In his last three games against Baltimore, Burrow has 11 TD passes. He just seems to rise to his best against his AFC North rival, and should be trusted to perform for your fantasy team in Week 15.

Darnold has been inconsistent from a fantasy standpoint of late, finishing with single-digits in three of his last five games.

The reality is the Seahawks QB only had one bad game in that stretch, in Week 11 against the Rams. His connection with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba continues to be one of the NFL’s best, and one he can channel for a big haul on Sunday against the spiraling Colts.

Josh Allen (at New England Patriots)

Allen has the toughest Week 15 matchup on this list, but the reigning MVP is more than capable of putting up huge numbers against a vaunted defense like the Patriots.

The 29-year-old is the premier dual-threat QB in the NFL right now and can score with his arm or legs at any time. In a game that the Bills must win to stay alive in the AFC East, expect Allen to be at his very best.

Jaxson Dart (vs. Washington Commanders)

It’s been five weeks since Dart was knocked out of the game against the Chicago Bears amid a huge fantasy haul, so starting the Giants’ rookie is a touch risky in the first round of the playoffs.

The reason for Dart’s inclusion here is the matchup at home against Washington, which has allowed 18+ FPTS to 11 of 13 starting quarterbacks it has faced this season.
