When it comes to stepping up, the Pittsburgh Steelers epitomized it last week against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. The win over their top division foe put the Steelers back up over .500 and gave them a lead in the AFC North. ow, the Steelers must regroup with one extra day to prepare and focus to beat the improving Miami Dolphins at Acrisure Stadium. Here are our big worries for this week.
The Dolphins can run the football
Miami has a dynamic tandem of running backs in De’Von Achane and Ollie Gordon II and as their offensive line has improved, this pair is getting harder and harder to deal with. It isn’t clear if defensive tackle Derrick Harmon will play but Pittsburgh needs him to slow down these dynamic backs.

Steelers banged up
The Steelers are beat up pretty good this week, with multiple players in the concussion protocol and other players who have already been ruled out. Any time the depth is stretched thin, it puts so much pressure on the starters and we’ve seen this group doesn’t always handle pressure well.
Scoreboard watching
By the time the Steelers play the Dolphins, they will already know the outcome of Baltimore Ravens game vs the Cincinnati Bengals and that could impact the level of energy and intensity this group brings the next day.
At some point, the Steelers have to run the football
It was nice seeing the Steelers cut loose in the air on Sunday but at some point Pittsburgh is going to have to establish the ability to run the football as the season wears on. The Dolphins are the No. 25 run defense in the league and should give Jaylen Warren some excellent opportunities.
