HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hundreds for local football players hit the field for the 2025 808 Pro Day Combine.
The event was held at Kaiser High School on Saturday.
Athletes from around the state took part in drills and different competitions in front of college scouts.
New this year was the addition of the flag football combine. Hawaii just wrapped up the inaugural season of the sport last month and event organizers said it was important that they included them in the all-day camp.
“Having the wahine, as you saw they they got to do the show at the end and so we had 37 athletes display their acumen and we got some offers coming forward to them.” Event organizer Leilani K Maae told Hawaii News Now.
The athletes also appreciate the extra exposure.
“I’m really happy that these events are offered because yes, obviously the boys always had their camps, but I’m glad they’re able to incorporate the girls too because this is something a lot of us want.” Aiea wide receiver Zoey Naboa said.
808 Pro day runs multiple events throughout the year including their Senior Bowl game in December.
