STEELERS-RAVENS MIC’D UP

The Steelers have had plenty of classic games against the Baltimore Ravens over the years. Unfortunately, they got blown out in their last two games against their biggest rival last year. However, the Steelers got some revenge last week, beating the Ravens in another close game. The NFL provided a slightly closer look at that game, too.

Inside the NFL on Twitter shared some mic’d up moments from the Steelers-Ravens game. It’s a fun look at the intensity in the matchup. Both teams desperately needed that win. The Steelers came out on top, though, putting them in first place in the AFC North.

FORMER STEELERS CB RETIRES

The Steelers have had issues finding consistency at corner for years. While they thought they had a solid group this year, bringing in Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey, neither player worked out at corner the way the Steelers wanted. In 2023, the Steelers signed Desmond King II to try to bolster their corner room. That move didn’t really work out, and now, King’s NFL career has come to an end.

Now, King has officially retired, as he announced on Twitter. He wasn’t with the Steelers for very long, appearing in only three games before being released. However, he put together a decent career, sticking in the NFL for eight years. He was last with the Baltimore Ravens in 2024. Now, he’s on to the next chapter of his life.

HUDDLE FOR HOLIDAYS

The holiday season is in full swing. The Steelers aren’t featured in the NFL’s holiday slate this year, which they’re probably thankful for. However, that isn’t stopping the Steelers from working to celebrate and give back to their community.

The Steelers held their annual Huddle for the Holidays this week, according to Steelers Community Relations on Twitter. The event aims to give back to others, and the team welcomed 500 families to Acrisure Stadium. Several organizations were present to provide numerous items to those in need. It’s a great way for the team to help others.
