Dolphins RB De’Von Achane rib injury Sunday came from falling on ball. He was adamant to Mike McDaniel he could have returned to game and he’s highly motivated to play next Monday vs. Steelers.
No fracture, he had MRI. Just treatment and maybe a little practice rest. Good news.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins prepare for their Week 15 matchup on Monday Night Football, one of the game’s top stars has received an important injury update.
According to NFL Network’s Adam Wolfe, Dolphins RB De’Von Achane — who didn’t return in Miami’s Week 14 win over the Jets due to a rib injury — does not have a fracture following his MRI. He added that Achane may need “a little practice rest,” but he’s “highly motivated” to play against Pittsburgh on Monday Night Football.
With around seven minutes left in the first half, Achane was tackled by Jets S Isaiah Oliver following a 29-yard rush, and the Dolphins running back fell awkwardly on his right side, landing on the football.
Achane’s condition will certainly be worth monitoring as preparation for Monday Night Football continues, as the Dolphins running back could give Pittsburgh’s struggling run defense some problems throughout the matchup in Week 15.
