Rams WR Puka Nacua was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after a huge game against the Cardinals in Week 14.
For the second straight week, one of the conference players of the week is coming off a fantastic game against the Arizona Cardinals. Last week, it was Tampa Bay Buccaneers punter Riley Dixon who earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Week 13. For Week 14, it is Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua. He was named the Week 14 NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Nacua had seven receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ 45-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
His 167 receiving (and scrimmage) yards in Week 14 led the NFL.
It was the fifth time in his career he has had at least 160 receiving yards and a touchdown. Sunday’s game was his first in the NFL in which he scored two touchdowns.
It is his second player of the week award this season and third in his career. He earned it earlier this season for his 13 catches for 170 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 in a 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Cardinals will have to face Nacua again in Week 18.
Nacua has a league-leading 93 receptions through 14 weeks with 1,186 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
