Packers coach Matt LaFleur provides an injury update on Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is expected to miss his second straight day of practice with an injury. Matt LaFleur addresses the latest.

GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs missed his second straight day of practice on Dec. 11.

Jacobs has been dealing with a knee contusion for the past few weeks after suffering the injury in the Week 11 game against the New York Giants. He missed the following game against the Minnesota Vikings.

“We’ll see how he’s feeling [Dec. 12] and kind of go from there,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said during his Dec. 11 pre-practice news conference.

It appeared he was turning a corner and was feeling better after he played in the past two games against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears and posted a combined 169 rushing yards and a touchdown.

“Anytime a guy doesn’t practice, that’s always a concern. We’ll see,” LaFleur said. “He’s been battling through. He’s doing everything in his power to get ready to go.”

Outside of Jacobs, every other player on the active roster practiced for the Packers on Dec. 11.
