METAIRIE, LA. – As the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers prepare to clash for their second meeting of the 2025 season, the Panthers are getting an important asset back on defense.
Per the team’s injury report, Panthers’ starting cornerback Jaycee Horn has cleared concussion protocol and should be good to take the field against the Saints on Sunday afternoon.
Horn missed the Panthers’ most recent game, a stunning victory over the Los Angeles Rams. He also had a bye week between then and the upcoming Week 15 matchup in New Orleans to continue his recovery.
Horn was limited in practice on Wednesday, a walkthrough and was elevated on Thursday and Friday as he advanced through and eventually cleared concussion protocol. Wednesday practices tend to be walkthroughs, which typically do not provide the requisite work needed to progress through the head injury process.
The corner was a constant target the last time the two teams met back in Week 10, a game that ended as a 17-7 Saints victory. On two touchdowns, Horn slipped and fell while in coverage. This week’s game now sets up a chance for him to rebound after the performance.
The son of Saints’ legendary wide receiver Joe Horn, Jaycee will be looking to make plays and rebound against the Saints Sunday in the Big Easy.
