Former NFL Head Coach Jon Gruden’s latest prediction was that the Cardinals will be demolished by the Texans, to say the least. What he said out loud is what many Arizona fans quietly fear. The Cardinals’ colliding with a Houston team built on speed and spacing could be detrimental to the Cardinals’ game plan.

The Cardinals will be without Marvin Harrison Jr., Paris Johnson Jr., and many more. Arizona will be strictly relying on its depth, as it will be an uphill battle for Arizona on Sunday, dealing with all of its injuries.

Fans around the league feel the same way about Arizona’s chances, as Houston is playing for a playoff spot and a division title, and the Cardinals have been eliminated from playoff contention altogether. It’s an opportunity to evaluate their identity against one of the NFL’s fastest-rising teams, although the biggest question comes down to whether the Cardinals can create enough offensively to upset the Texans.
